Below are the basic settings accessible at the home screen.

Adjust your starting ramp time and pressure for comfort to help you fall asleep.

Recommendation: Start at time of 30 minutes and pressure of 4 cmH2O.   If you feel the pressure is increasing too fast, try 45min or if you feel the pressure is increasing too slow, try 15min or changing pressure to Off.  If you feel like the pressure isn't strong enough, increase as needed to most comfortable level.

HUMIDITY

The level the humidifier moistens the air you breathe during treatment.

Recommendation: Start in the middle at setting of 3.  If your nose or mouth feels dry, increase the humidity level.  If you get too much condensation in the mask or hose, decrease the humidity level or try using DreamStation Heated Tube (click HERE for more information).

TUBE

Diameter of tube used.

Micro-flexible tubing is 12mm, Standard Tube is 15mm, and Performance Tubing is 22mm.

Recommendation: Select the correct tube diameter you are using to optimize unit's performance and accuracy of the data recorded. 

HEATED TUBE

The level of air pressure relief on exhalation.

Recommendation: Increase flex level if you experience difficulty exhaling.  

Recommendation: Keep on default setting of Off.  Turn On if you need to disable wireless connectivity such as while using your unit on an airplane.

Recommendation: Run warmup before you start therapy if you feel the air is too cold in the beginning.

FLEX*

When enabled, it will allow you to exhale easier.

MASK TYPE*

If enabled, unit will start automatically when you breathe with mask on.   It will also automatically turn off when you take off the mask.

LANGUAGE*

Inner diameter of tubing used.  SlimLine is 15mm and Standard is 19mm.

Recommendation: Turn On if you have difficulty exhaling while on therapy.

Recommendation: Turn On if you want the unit to turn On and Off on it's own without you having to push start and stop.

HUMIDIFICATION*

System that delivers constant temperature and humidity levels during therapy.

Auto - automatically adjust to maintain a constant humidity level of 85%. 

Manual - you adjust Tube Temperature and Humidity Level separately.  

Recommendation: Start on Auto.   Humidifier output will adjust automatically to maintain a constant humidity level  of 85%, which is considered comfortable for most people.

TUBE TEMP*

The temperature inside the tube.

Recommendation: Start on Auto (with Climate Ctrl on Auto).  Tube temperature will be 80°F and Climate Control adjusts the humidifier output to maintain a constant  relative humidity level of 85% while protecting against rainout (condensation in the air tubing and mask).
